Powerade and Gatorade are not the same. These both drinks are energy drinks by different companies and offer the more or less same advantages yet these vary in their content and ingredients. Powerade is owned by the coca-cola company that offers fewer calories as compared to Gatorade and yet has a high nutrient ratio. Gatorade is owned by PepsiCo that has more sugar in it which gives it a sweet taste as compared to Powerade. These sugars are present in their natural taste and flavor.
